Found Warren by an internet search. I took 5 of my late father's knives to him and he took great care with them. They were sharp and ready for the upcoming holidays! Turn around was quick, Warren was very easy to communicate with and he is super knowledgeable about his craft. Highly recommend him to anyone! Thanks again!

A while back I bought a wet stone because I thought, "I bet sharpening my own knives is a relaxing and worthwhile hobby". And while there is a certain "zen" to sharpening ones own knives with a wet stone, it quickly turned into a chore that I had neither the time nor patience for, unfortunately. Which brings me to Honed by Jones. I had come by Honed by Jones's at a community artist/business event last month and decided to look up his business and text him yesterday (01/07/2026) to get my knives serviced. He responded quickly with his availability and address. I dropped my four knives (2 chefs knives, a carving knife, and a paring knife) off that day. Not more than 3 hours later, they were done and ready for pick-up! When prepping for dinner that evening, I was blown away by the sharpness and edge of the knives. They were completely revitalized and an absolute joy to use again! Warren, the owner, is a kind and approachable man who is clearly dedicated and passionate about his craft. I will continue to patron his small business for all my knife sharpening needs! I highly recommend his services to anyone looking to get their knives (or other tools) sharpened. Remember, a dull knife is a dangerous knife. So, you should get them sharpened by Honed by Jones! His price was very reasonable at $40 for the four knives. Upon pick-up they were safely wrapped in paper. Perhaps not a consideration for some, but worth a mention; my wife and I being brown/black people, we love seeking out and supporting black-owned, or other minority represented businesses. If that's something important to you, Honed by Jones is a business worth supporting.
